Chiharu invites Wataru to visit the filming locations of a movie during their summer vacation.

After visiting the movie filming locations together, Wataru and Chiharu grow closer.

The two plan their final movie location pilgrimage, but a typhoon forces them to cancel. Instead, Wataru Toda invites Chiharu Saeki to watch a movie at his home, unexpectedly bringing them closer.

Chiharu stops coming to school, leaving Wataru devastated. Then, Wataru receives a letter in which Chiharu writes about how they first met as children and shares his true feelings for him. Believing they'll never see each other again, Wataru falls into despair. But then, Hiraoka says something completely unexpected that changes everything.

Wataru searches for the missing Chiharu, following the letter he left behind as he runs toward the final movie location pilgrimage site, determined to confess his own feelings.

Wataru finally reunites with Chiharu, who has returned from abroad. Wataru is invited to the movies by Niimi, a senior coworker at his part-time job, but... Meanwhile, Chiharu seems to be quite close with Akiyoshi, his former classmate from Canada... At last, the college arc begins!

Wataru and Chiharu reunite and confess their feelings to each other. On Wataru’s birthday, the two spend a special time together at Chiharu’s house, watching movies and cooking. The next day, however, Wataru’s message remains unread. Growing anxious, he heads to Chiharu’s house, only to find…

Chiharu’s birthday arrives, and the two celebrate by drinking together. Wataru wants to take their relationship one step further, but he hesitates between intimacy and insecurity.

Wataru worries that Chiharu might leave him again, while Chiharu still feels guilty for having hurt him in the past. Unable to be honest about their true feelings, the two find their relationship shaken by a proposal from Akiyoshi. Meanwhile, during a drinking party celebrating Wataru’s birthday, an unexpected incident changes the course of the night.
